Products
Do all of the products sold on your website comply with Australian Safety Standards?
Yes - we have insisted that all products offered for sale on TheMarketHub comply with Australian safety standards.
Are all of your products from reputable suppliers?
Yes – many of Australia’s leading suppliers/manufacturers are represented on our site. TheMarketHub exclusively partners with reputable suppliers, ensuring the highest standards of quality and reliability, including vetted suppliers.
Why is there no recommended retail pricing on TheMarketHub website?
TheMarketHub is a wholesale platform, so the prices displayed on the website are your trade prices, not recommended retail prices (RRP). We do not display fixed RRPs, as retail pricing may vary by region, store type, market conditions, and individual business strategies. Retailers are solely responsible for determining their own selling prices and margins.
For stores using XchangeIT, RRPs will continue to be supplied through TheMarketHub product delivery files and may be imported into your point-of-sale system. These RRPs are provided as a guide only and should be reviewed and adjusted by you as appropriate for your business before products are offered for sale. Are Direct accepts no responsibility or liability for the retail prices ultimately set or charged by retailers.
I ordered 1 counter display unit (CDU) but there are multiple items listed on my invoice, why is this?
A single CDU is comprised of either an individual or multiple individual items. These items have their own barcode for scanning at the point of sale. As such they will have their own product codes and issue numbers and will be listed individually even though they will come to you packaged in one single CDU. You will have only paid for the total selling price of the CDU and not the individual items.
Accounts & Changes
How can I pay for my order?
If you’re an existing magazine customer, you can continue to use your normal monthly billing account. Payment for products purchased during the month is due by the 20th of the following month.
If you have an approved account but do not have a magazine account, you can pay via credit card at the time you place your order through our online payment gateway.
If my Are Direct magazine account goes on hold; will this impact my ability to order from TheMarketHub?
If your account is put on soft hold, you will have access to the website and will be able to order. Any orders will be delivered with your magazines once the account is no longer on hold.
If your account is moved to hard hold, you will not be able to access the website or place orders. If your account is moved onto hard hold but have processed an order on soft hold, the stock will not be delivered and the amount owed credited to your account.
